Purchasing Manager

The position will manage Purchasing Staff by assessing capabilities and recommending changes in personnel or roles. He/she will ensure department is properly staffed to handle all purchasing functions, including SKU set-up, purchase order creation, order expediting, and issue resolution. The person will also establish key performance metrics to measure effectiveness of buyers.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in business, logistics, or a related field, and have three to five years of management experience in a purchasing department. He/she must have experience in inventory control and warehouse logistics management, with strong emphasis on customer service and cost reduction goals.

Merchandising Category Specialist – PPE and EMS Products

This position will identify and manage opportunities to expand current product offering from existing vendors, and identify deficiencies in current product line and source items from new vendors to fill the gaps. He/she will oversee the creative development of new products, and ensure existing products have up-to-date images and copy. The person will negotiate product cost, exclusive deals, and entitlements (volume rebates, freight terms, freebies, etc.) with vendors.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business, and have three years of experience in merchandising/selling with retail distributor companies. Category-specific public safety knowledge (fire, law enforcement, EMS) is required, as is strong organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Embroidery Quality Control Specialist

This position approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. He/she will approve in-process production by confirming specifications, and will document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database. The person will also keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions.

The ideal candidate will have two years of office administrative experience, as well as previous manufacturing/production experience. He/she will demonstrate follow-through, organizational skills, and have the ability to discern color variations in thread.
