Elemica Gets Top Honor from ‘Food Logistics’

8.18.2014 Elemica

Thanks to its strategy of allowing food ingredient processors to more closely control supply chains, Wayne based Elemica has managed to come out ahead of 150 other enterprises and secure the top spot in Food Logistics magazine’s annual list of top logistics IT providers for the second year in a row.

Food Logistics, which publishes its ‘FL100+’ list every year to recognize and honor industry leaders, selected Elemica for the strength of its platform. The company’s platform allows for greater network visibility for processing operations, which in turn helps drive profits up.

“By implementing Elemica’s powerful business network, agricultural and food ingredient clients can easily conduct business with each other, while clearly differentiating themselves through service, significant cost advantages and the ability to better respond rapidly to either market opportunities or supply disruptions,” said Cindi Hane, Elemica’s Vice President for Product Management.
