Supply Chain Network Systems Manager

The Supply Chain Network Systems Manager at QVC is responsible for ensuring the effective usage of supply chain systems through being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) including modification, training and implementation of these systems globally. (ie: Manhattan WMS, WCM, OM, Labor Management, etc.) This position will work closely with cross functional teams located within the Distribution Centers (DCs) to develop SOPs, best practices, and system enhancements.

A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a preference for a Masters degree or M.B.A. plus five or more years experience working with supply chain systems or in a related field.

Senior Intranet Analyst

QVC’s HR team has an opportunity for an experienced business systems analyst to join the HR Technology team. This role will oversee the layout, visual look, and overall content of the global employee Intranet. The ideal candidate must understand the characteristics of a website’s users and will partner with Content Managers to develop and edit intranet pages. This role will analyze and test all links and content to ensure that information is accurate, accessible, and user-friendly. In addition, the right candidate will oversee the intranet taxonomy and semantic search and partner with content managers to organize their content and improve search results.

The ideal Internet Analyst will have a degree in Information Science, or similar, and 3 to 5 years previous experience working with intranet or portal programs and/or a modern knowledge management business solution, preferably for a global organization. Additionally, the Analyst will have an understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript), experience with enterprise search tools and taxonomy and excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills and the ability to think creatively about collaboration, knowledge sharing, and employee engagement in a global organization.

Talent Service Coordinator

QVC is seeking a part-time Talent Service Coordinator (TSC). Whether it’s greeting on-air guests as they arrive in the studio, handling tricky situations with high profile individuals, or informing the studio team of a last minute change, the Talent Service Coordinator is available to get the job done quickly and cordially. The TSC oversees the Talent Service Center during their shift. They are responsible for negotiating challenging situations that arise, such as scheduling conflicts for greenroom and salon, late arrivals or call-outs of Talent team members, addressing on-the-spot breaches of protocol, and making operational decisions that will directly impact the live show. The TSC makes decisions impacting high level individuals, including celebrities and executives.

The Talent Service Coordinator positions requires an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, Television, Broadcasting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training, skills, and experience and 2 to 5  years experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced customer service and/or studio environment. An ability to work a flexible schedule including overnight and weekend shifts, strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills and the ability to make fast, in-the-moment decisions are essential requirements of the job.
