Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic

This position installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration and/or HVAC systems, units, equipment, and peripheral devices; responds to refrigeration and/or HVAC needs of building tenants; and disassembles, repairs, and replaces thermostats, pumps, compressors, diffusers, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in refrigeration/HVAC systems or two years of relevant refrigeration/HVAC experience; knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems, equipment, and practices; and the ability to interpret electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC system blueprints.

Purchasing Card Administrator

This position serves as procurement card liaison to the campus community to set up new cards, perform daily maintenance, and relocate incorrect charges; creates and delivers cardholder training programs; and explores ways to maximize rebate potential for the university.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business-related field; a minimum of three years of accounting or purchasing experience; procurement card experience; and knowledge of Share Point, online banking, and SAP or other enterprise financial systems.

Assistant Director of Lawrence A. Dowdy Multicultural Center (LADMC)

This position develops, facilitates, and assesses programs and workshops for the LADMC; coordinates marketing of LADMC activities; coordinates and advises the Multicultural Student Organization board; and assists with diversity training and presentations as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling education, or a related discipline; a minimum of one to two years of related professional experience; and experience advising and working with student organizations.
