Staff Accountant

The Chester County Intermediate Unit has a vacancy for a staff accountant in the Division of Administrative Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The Special Ed staff accountant is responsible for all financial information, budget projections and completion reports for all Special Education budgets as well as Administrative Services programs budget.

The ideal Staff Accountant position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a minimum of three years experience in accounting or related position with actual experience in fund accounting and/or Not for Profit accounting and a current (within one year) police, child abuse and FBI clearances required.

Life Skills Teacher

The Chester County Intermediate Unit has an opening for a secondary Life Skills Teacher at the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Child & Career Development Center in Coatesville. the Life Skills Teacher develops and implements curriculum and behavior plans for students in the classroom. This person gathers information for, writes, and manages the Individual Education Plans and Evaluation Reports.  In addition, this position communicates with all members of IEP team.

The ideal Life Skills Teacher will have a current Pennsylvania certification in special education, experience with secondary Life Skills population and a current child abuse, criminal history and FBI clearances.

Food Service Manager

The Chester County Intermediate Unit is looking for a Manager of their County Cup Food Service. This position works collaboratively with CCIU programs to provide pre-vocational training and job coaching/training designed specifically for operation of multiple beverage and food, “Grab and Go”, County Cup locations by special education students in Chester County. The manager is responsible for assuring consistency and compliance of licensing requirements and procedures across locations and managing day-to-day operation of Beverage/Food kiosk including setup, prep, service, clean up and daily operational budgets and supplies.

The ideal County Food Cup Manager will have food services experience and a high school (or GED) degree with a preference for a Bachelors or Masters degree and a Food Managers Certification from the Chester County Health Dept or other Nationally Accrediated Food protection certificate programs.  Like all CCIU positions, a current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.
