The current hiring equation isn’t quite adding up for proponents of Chester County’s high-growth Route 202 corridor, and their innovative C Cubed Career (un)Fair will connect millennials with cutting-edge local companies in a creative new context.

The event happening today at the Evolve IP Conference Center in Wayne will target science, technology, engineering, arts and math job seekers looking for their first or next position, employees seeking a career change or prospective workers scoping out their options. It will run from 3 to 7 p.m.

“We have some fantastic companies along the Route 202 corridor that are looking to hire not only people with experience but also recent college grads,” Hire One Project Manager Jim Lauckner said in an announcement of the event last month. “This career (un)fair was put together after a realization that the hiring system might be broken. C Cubed is an innovative event bringing STEAM companies and millennials together in a fun environment that ultimately will lead to new business relationships.”

In addition to bridging the gap between employers and job seekers, the free (un)fair will provide complimentary professional headshots, resume building workshops, social profile review workshops and a raffle for a drone and other prizes.
