Warehouse Specialist – Studio Tour (Part-Time)

Visitors to QVC’s Studio Store at Studio Park find an ever-changing selection of merchandise including beauty, jewelry, fashion, kitchen, home décor, and authentic QVC Studio Park logo gear. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for getting all of that product into the Studio Store and customers’ hands.   The duties of the Warehouse specialist include receiving product from outside QVC warehouses and other vendors, counting and adjusting inventory levels due to new receipts and/or inventory discrepancies and properly ticketing and preparing product for store displays.

The ideal candidate should have a high school degree, at least one year experience in a warehouse environment, including experience with warehouse inventory systems and motorized equipment, and a valid Pennsylvania drivers license.  The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is essential.

Front End Developer

QVC’s Interactive team is seeking a Front End Developer with a passion for internet/eCommerce development. The Front End Developer will be accountable for technical vision, operational decisions, enforcing quality standards, evaluating technical feasibility or proposed solutions, and advanced development related to front end functional development supporting Android and IOS WebViews, within local and global markets. They will be responsible for related technical design, development, and technical project management of their work. The Front End Developer will work closely with global FED, IT, UI, Design, Apps Dev, and project teams to develop infrastructure, tools, and support for developing new functionality and interactive experiences within QVC App WebViews, on web sites, and other channels.

The Frond end developer position at QVC requires a BS degree in Multimedia, Computer Science, Information Architecture or Design, Human Factors, Information Systems, or related area and 7+ years with Internet Technology, web page development, UI and functional analysis, 3+ years with Mobile/Responsive development, Android and IOS SDK, and Project Management, and 3+ years video on web, streaming video, video on App.
The candidate should be proficient in writing original, advanced JavaScript, AJAX, XML, JSP, HTML5 and CSS3 for a WebView environment and have experience working within the Android and IOS SDKs enviornment.

Director Portfolio & Program Management

Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Portfolio Management, this highly visible position is accountable for leading the planning & portfolio management function for the functional business area. This role is responsible for working cross-functionally to define strategic objectives, define and deliver a portfolio of investments and participate in business planning. The Director will lead business process optimization work, collaborating across other key business entities at QVC to deliver the business model and plan. In this role the Director will provide overall direction, guidance and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy.

The qualified candidate will have and MBA or equivalent education or experience and 15+ years of experience in multiple disciplines across business, technological, analytical and organizational tracks and ten or more years of team leadership experience. A deep understanding of business architecture, methodologies, and project management and excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence with the ability to build relationships, act as a change agent, and adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business needs are essential.
