Fox Rothschild’s Craig A. Styer To Serve As Secretary of CCEDC

The Managing Partner of the Fox Rothschild Exton office, Chester County’s own Craig A. Styer has been elected secretary of the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC), where he will serve a two-year term.

CCEDC, which has been active for over 50 years, is a full-service, regional economic development entity, focused on providing “smart growth” business services to companies in Chester County and the surrounding region.

Its business plan works through cooperating with public and private sectors institutions to discover what is really required to help local economies. Then the CCEDC initiates studies to provide innovative solutions, so that it can help develop programs to improve the overall regional business climate and the general community.

As a lifelong resident of Chester County, Styer has already shown his deep commitment and philanthropic desire to help the region by serving in leadership roles for other local organizations, amongst them as board member of the Chester County Chamber Foundation and as President of the Chester County Bar Association.

In his position as managing partner of Exton Fox Rothschild, Styer frequently has to resolves conflicts of interest and other business issues on many local and regional levels. He has successfully represented a variety of clients in areas as diverse as resolving shareholder disputes, real estate, insurance coverage, probate litigation and complex business litigation.

In addition, he represents clients on many employment issues such as restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of employment agreements and unfair business practices.  Styer has also successfully served as the Administrative Chair of the Litigation Department in the Exton office, and as a member of the firm’s Partnership Advancement Committee within Fox Rothschild.
