A renewed effort to serve its West Chester customers has risen from the ashes of the fire-damaged DNB First bank, and it has started with this week’s opening of a temporary downtown branch location at 124 W. Market St. The temporary branch will remain open until the bank’s North Church Street home is reconstructed.

“The opening of this branch, just weeks after a fire damaged our West Chester office, is a testament to the energy and dedication of our DNB First team and underlines our commitment to the West Chester community,” Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer Vince Liuzzi said in a company announcement. “We want to thank the people and businesses of West Chester for their support and encouragement over the past few weeks, and I’d like to recognize the tremendous effort of all of our employees, who have helped us to resume serving customers in this critically important market.”
The temporary branch will offer the Downingtown-based bank’s complete range of products and services.
