Software Test Analyst

Vertex, in Berwyn, is currently looking for a Software Test Analyst to provide professional expertise in defining the test targets, test cases and verification of the test coverage. The Software Test Analyst will be responsible for the development of the test cases per project/product based on the strategy, maintenance of the test cases library per product/feature set/test type, and developing, gathering, and managing test data.

The qualified applicant will have a technical degree/coursework in a technical discipline, at least one year experience in application software environments and have a working knowledge of common software failures/faults.

SAP Techno Functional Consultant

Vertex, in Berwyn, is looking for a SAP Functional Consultant who will focus on delivering consulting services remotely for the business tax process and Vertex product usage as it relates to specific ERP applications during the implementation and post implementation of Vertex’s tax technology solutions. The SAP consultant will actively identify, pursue, and up-sell additional services work while on-site with client, and assist consulting sales representatives by providing Sales Support and assist with developing statements of work.

The qualified applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related discipline, and have at least 3 years experience in implementation and deployment of sale or use of  VAT tax software, ERP, SAP, and PeopleSoft enterprise software.

Solution Engagement Leader

Vertex, in Berwyn, is seeking a Solution Engagement Leader who will be responsible for the driving solution value through the entire client lifecycle and championing feedback and solution concepts back into Product Strategy and Development Teams in early markets. Once hired, the Solution Engagement Leader will be responsible for the VE delivery lifecycle via management or participation against delivering on expectations related to project scope, process and plan to meet the promised solution value.

The qualified applicant will have a degree in Taxation, Finance/Accounting with a minimum of 5 years tax experience. A deep understanding of the end-to-end financial accounting and business process flows from ERP financial systems to the Vertex Enterprise application is required.
