Exton Labs’ Parent Company DSM North America Celebrates Unsung Heroes Of The Planet
As evidence of global climate change continues to mount, the company behind two Exton scientific laboratories is taking the focus off the gloom and redirecting it toward the solutions that are about to bloom.
“It’s a fairly well-accepted fact that over the next 50 years the planet is facing a multitude of giant macrosocietal challenges,” DSM North America President Hugh Welsh said in a Pennsylvania Business Daily report. “Scientists across the world are trying to find solutions now.”
The company’s Bright Science campaign is “encouraging our competitors and partners to bring scientists to the forefront and to celebrate their work,” he said, with the ultimate aim of sparking conversation and collaboration among the public, influential leaders, governments, businesses and others about the potential impact of science with societal purpose.
“Scientists are trying to change the world for the better as they wrestle with the complexities of solving hunger, poverty, climate change, disease and disabilities – just a few of the global challenges expected to worsen without their dedication and compassion,” the article stated.
