Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer (quality assurance emphasis) at Volt will train and lead personnel in root cause analysis and other quality tools to reduce defects, improve quality, reduce process variations, recommend corrective actions required based on statistical trending of errors and problems affecting product quality and customer satisfaction.

A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (BSME or BSIE) and 3+ years experience of lean manufacturing experience and 5+ Years of quality assurance department in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will primarily be responsible for engineering and improvement of existing manufacturing processes in the printing and finishing of conventional and smart cards.  Secondary duties include developing, qualifying and implementing new products, processes and materials for manufacturing.

A Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required with three years experience in a production engineering environment. The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is a must.

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will mainly be responsible for directing/coordinating activities of maintenance supervisors, maintenance associates engaged in repair, installation of machines, tools, and equipment.  Once hired, the manager will promote good safety performance of department and be aware of environmental policies and procedures manage and maintain a maintenance database system to track work orders and repairs through the maintenance tracking system.

The optimal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least 8 years experience leading maintenance personnel in an industrial application. Excellent communication skills and a general knowledge in all aspects of maintenance (blueprint reading, electrical repair, pneumatic repair, hydraulic repair, and understanding of how to read parts books to order necessary parts), plus good mathematical skills are required.
