The momentum toward a possible third Comcast tower in Philadelphia quickened this week as Malvern-based Liberty Property Trust accumulated yet another property on the block near Comcast’s other two towers.
This one, the fifth purchased within the block surrounded by 19th, Arch, Cherry and 20th streets, is a 10,720-square-foot surface parking lot at 19th and Arch streets that cost $2.45 million, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report.
“Commercial real estate sources have said that a third Comcast tower is in the works and that bidding on the project is in the initial stages,” the article stated.
