SEPTA Plans Downtown Philly Station Repairs, Has New Transit Schedules

With large crowds expected this summer for Pope Francis’ visit, and possibly next summer if Philadelphia hosts the Democratic National Convention, SEPTA plans to repair some rundown stations, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The $150 million makeover of the subway complex beneath City Hall will begin early next year; construction will begin next spring on the 15th Street station; and City Hall station construction will begin later that year, the Inquirer reports.
