New Stores For Comcast After Customer Service Rock Bottoms

By

Alongside a massive effort to resurrect ratings for its “dismal customer service reputation,” Comcast is modernizing stores across Philadelphia and planning to open new Xfinity storefronts in Exton and King of Prussia, according to a Philly.com report.

“It would be safe to say the opportunity is huge,” Comcast Senior Vice President of Retail Sian Doyle said in the article. “We are at the beginning of a long journey.”

Hundreds of stores are being “remodeled, relocated and infused with technology to cut waiting times” for customers who come in to pay bills, pick up or drop off set-top boxes and address issues.

The new Exton store is intended to debut this year, while the King of Prussia store is slated for next year, the article noted.
