Saint Gobain's Certainteed is a leading home materials manufacturer.

There’s nothing better for a re-roofer than a community tattered by a hailstorm, and now there’s nothing easier for finding those hail-damaged roofs than a few mouse clicks on a map.

CertainTeed, the nationally-known roofing, insulation and siding brand of global building materials giant Saint-Gobain — which is building its new American headquarters in Malvern, is now providing its certified roofers with real-time tracking of hailstorms through a partnership with HailStrike software.

“HailStrike’s interactive storm-tracking technology helps turn hail-damaged roofs into re-roof jobs for our credentialed roofers, and that’s good news for roofers and their customers,” Director of Contractor Programs and Promotions Jay Butch said in a recent Roofing Contractor report.

In real-time or within a few hours, CertainTeed-credentialed roofers can obtain detailed, site-specific hail reports and maps to “get to storm-torn roofs quickly so they may help homeowners start the process of repair, while also beating their competition to the prospective work,” the article stated.
