Dangers persist for the economy in 2015, according to a Jan. 11 news story in which reporter Brian McCullough of the Daily Local News picks the brains of local experts.

Economist Joel Naroff says the economy has turned and we are primed for a full turnaround, while local mutual fund giant Vanguard is cautioning about the potential for deflation in Europe, rising interest rates, volatile oil prices and slowing growth in China.

Naroff is predicting 5 percent unemployment by the end of the year. Chester County tends to fare better than most of the state; the most recent unemployment figure was 3.9 percent.
