Vin Milano Retains Pennsylvania Bio Leadership Role
Vin Milano, vice chairman of Pennsylvania Bio, has been named CEO of Idera Pharmaceuticals of Cambridge, Ma.
Milano, whose main office will remain in Exton, will keep his leadership role with Pennsylvania Bio as he also leads Idera from Cambridge.
Idera is a clinical stage biotechnology company with expertise in discovering, developing and commercializing novel nucleic acid therapeutics to treat patients with serious and life-threatening diseases. Idera is focused on harnessing the potential of its proprietary technology to treat genetically defined forms of B-cell lymphomas and rare autoimmune diseases.
Pennsylvania Bio, founded 25 years ago by a group of Biotech CEOs, represents medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies, investment organizations, academic institutions, and a myriad of service industries that support the life sciences in Pennsylvania.
