Malvern Entrepreneurs Aim High With New Eco-Centric Business – Maholla Products

By

Not just any business will do. In their new venture, three Malvern entrepreneurs will settle for nothing less than innovation-driven, customer-focused, socially responsible and eco-centric products — and they’re betting others will too.

Blending a Hawaiian word with American slang, they came up with Maholla Products to symbolize “a respectful and friendly greeting,” co-founder Evan Hajas said in a Keystone Edge article. “It sums up our company in one word. We respect our customers and our products, and want them to keep in touch.”

Fellow co-founders are Andrew Lees and Jim McHugh, and Maholla’s first release is a 100 percent bamboo Grassracks hanging rack.

“We started this company to live the American dream,” Hajas added. “We’re three young guys that are committed to making high-quality products, being good to our customers, and doing what we can to protect the environment and raise the bar in terms of environmental awareness for companies.”
