J.W. Pepper Employee Receives Regional Award

By

An employee of Paoli-based J.W. Pepper & Son, the largest sheet music in the United States, has earned the Texas Choral Directors Association’s service award.

The award went to Luana Marler, who has been instrumental in supporting choral music in Texas and organizing the TCDA conferences for the past 10 years.

“The entire staff has done an amazing job for us, but this award was given just to Lu,” said Billy Talley, TCDA president.

Marler is vice president of regional marketing in the southwest.

Founded in 1876, Pepper offers choral, band, orchestra, church, classroom, instrumental, piano and vocal music to directors, teachers and other professional musicians.

Pepper also offers subscription music library services.  Although the firm has a large online business, it has a local store at 191 Sheree Blvd., Exton.

Earlier this year Pepper launched Cued In, an online music community with lively posts and the latest in news of interest to musicians.  Tour the site here:  www.cuedin.com
