Exton Software Developer Thingworx Seeks To Connect The Internet Of Things

By

An Exton software developer is sparking new connections between devices and their makers, and its work is at the forefront of the emerging Internet of Things. To that end, Thingworx presented its groundbreaking solutions at the recent M2M Innovation World Congress 2014, according to an M2M World News interview.

“It doesn’t do anybody any good to connect a device, to collect the data and then do nothing with it. The need for meaningful applications around all of this connectivity is really what the platform is for,” Director of Technical Sales Andy Balousek said of ThingWorx in the article.

In the interview, Balousek goes on to explain how Thingworx is meant to speed up the app creation process, foster innovation, leverage the advantages of its mother company PTC, provide instant feedback to manufacturers, complement do-it-yourself competition, and offer flexibility through its subscription business model and scalability for large companies.
