Mortgage Network, one of the largest independent mortgage lenders in the eastern U.S., has added more than 20 new mortgage professionals to its Pennsylvania sales force, including three for its West Chester office.

Kevin Gaffney is now branch manager of  the West Chester office.  Gaffney has more than 15 years of mortgage industry experience and was previously at Academy Mortgage and Mortgage America.

The company has also brought on Augustin Wagner as a loan officer and James Kadingo as a sales assistant in the West Chester office.

Mortgage Network said 10 of its 20 new team members were hired for the nearby Lancaster office.   The firm said Lancaster County is one of the fastest growing housing markets in the commonwealth.  The firm placed the other new mortgage professionals at offices in greater Philadelphia, Clark’s Summit, Conshohocken and York.

Brian Koss, Mortgage Network executive vice president, said the state is enjoying “a very healthy housing market.”  The firm is based in Danvers, Mass. and offers a complete range of conventional, non-conventional, government and reverse residential mortgage loans. The firm says it has sold $35 billion in mortgage loans since 2000.
