Citadel is continuing its geographic expansion with the opening of its newest full-service branch office at 901 Baltimore Pike in Glen Mills, just over the border in Delaware County.
Dianna Armstrong is manager at the branch, Citadel’s third Delaware County branch – and one of four new branches opened in the last year.
A grand opening is set for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26 and 27. Citadel will serve donuts, coffee and tea in the mornings and gourmet hot dogs, fresh churros and drinks at lunch.
“Our expansion into Delaware County is further testament to our commitment to providing the very best value on a full range of banking services, and the convenience of having Citadel branches where customers live and work,” said Jeff March, Citadel president and CEO.
The Glen Mills office will introduce customers to Citadel Express Banking, a new deposit automation system used to expedite routine, self-service transactions, allowing staff more time to address more complex needs and to build deeper member relationships. Citadel says it is the first financial institution in Delaware County to offer this technology.
The branch features two full-service drive-thru lanes, an automation-enabled drive up ATM, and a self-service coin machine. Citadel offers free checking, low rates on loans, and a variety of tools such as online and mobile banking.
There are limited-time special promotions at the Glen Mills branch, including up to $200 in gift cards to new customers who open a checking account.
