For the third consecutive year, Vishay Inc. of Malvern has received the TTI Supplier Excellence Award for Europe.

TTI is a Berkshire Hathaway company striving to be a leading distributor in Europe of the passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components manufactured by Vishay.  The award for 2013 was based on on-time delivery, quality, sales support and business systems.  Vishay executives accepted the award in Germany earlier this month.

“Our Supplier Excellence Awards are based on a number of rigorously-monitored parameters,” said Geoff Breed, vice president for marketing at TTI Europe. “Therefore they are a real indicator of the part that suppliers play in helping us deliver excellent service to our customers. Vishay scored highly in all categories, emphasizing the high quality of the partnership our joint teams have forged.”

“Winning the TTI Supplier Excellence for the third year in a row is a true accomplishment,” said Philippe Masson, director for sales distribution in Europe for Vishay. “I am very proud to receive this award on behalf of Vishay. It underscores the close partnership between Vishay and TTI.”
