Tague Lumber, a Philadelphia area family business founded in 1908, recently opened its sixth location at 475 McFarlan Road (formerly Danby Lumber) in Kennett Square.

The Kennett Square location, managed by Matt Potter, includes thousands of residential and commercial building materials.  The store also has state-of-the-art, drive-through warehouses ready to serve builders, remodelers and homeowners.

The company is holding special events in Kennett Square all summer long and will have an official grand opening in September.

Tague Lumber has lumber and building materials including: engineered lumber, windows and doors, drywall, a Tague signature line of mouldings, millwork, hand and power tools, plus mushroom house supplies to support the local Kennett Square mushroom growers.

For job-site deliveries, Tague offers its signature fleet of vehicles including: boom trucks, moffett trucks, flat bed, curtain side, box trucks and service vans, allowing the company to deliver what customers want and where they want it.

Tague Lumber supplies builders, contractors, remodelers and homeowners.  The 10,000-square-foot Tague Design Showroom in Malvern was recently featured in Philadelphia Magazine.

“Since its founding in 1908 Tague Lumber has been firmly rooted in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties,” said Vince Tague Jr, company president. “We are dedicated to serving the needs of professional contractors and builders and we are excited to offer that level of support to the residents of Kennett Square.”
