Y-Prime, Inc., a premier eClinical products and consulting company based in Malvern, has appointed Cindy K. Howry vice president of electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) and electronic Patient Reported Outcome (ePRO) – a new position for the company.

Howry brings to Y-Prime high-level expertise and nearly three decades of broad-based leadership experience in the application of eCOA and ePRO technology to the clinical trials process. In her new role, she will be responsible for product development and marketing efforts to help sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) benefit from the scientific and cost advantages of more accurate, streamlined patient-reported data collection.

In addition to her new role, Howry serves in an elected position as Industry Vice-Director, ePRO Consortium, Critical Path Institute (C-Path), a collaboration to enhance incorporation of the patient’s perspective into evaluation of new medical treatments. Y-Prime is a member of the ePRO Consortium.

Howry joins Y-Prime from Bracket where she was principal and regional director of ePRO Solutions. She played a critical role in the successful integration of ePRO solutions with interactive voice response (IVR) systems, electronic data capture (EDC), Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM), and endpoint administration services.
