Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier, known since the 17th century for creating outrageously decadent chocolate treats such as blue cheese and chocolate covered wine grapes, has selected local company Deacom, Inc. of Wayne to streamline its operations.

Bissinger’s will use Deacom’s ERP software solution specifically for food manufacturing to drive their growth and improve productivity. Bissinger’s joins other international firms including Remy Cointreau, producer of luxury spirits, and Norwegian Cruises in selecting Deacom communications software.

Deacom specializes in simple solutions for complex problems, which is why Bissinger’s chose them to help them handle the large increase in sales they anticipate this year. Bissinger’s, which plans to expand its retail operations, has crafted fine confections made from premium, all-natural ingredients since King Louis XIV granted them the title “Confiseur Imperial” in 17th century France.

Bissinger’s had an immediate appreciation for Deacom’s guaranteed fixed pricing as well as their single system model designed to eliminate the need for customizations and bolt-ons and deliver enterprise-wide process control.

“Deacom will provide the single source of truth we need to support the growth and evolution of our business,” Tim Petron, chief operating officer said.
