You want me to do what in these shoes?

Ivanka Trump is partnering with West Chester’s QVC to fight breast cancer and help women slip into high fashion shoes that make them feel as if they are ready to conquer the world.

Trump, a business woman, writer and television personality, is appearing in public service announcements for QVC as the television retailer presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale.”

The event, set to air from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, is a charitable collaboration between QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York – FFANY. During October, donated shoes from over 80 brands will be offered at discounted prices to help women purchase shoes they might not otherwise be able to afford, and to benefit breast cancer research and education.

Also, each weekday from 7 to 9 a.m. during October, buyers may shop the Shoe of the Day on air, online or on the QVC apps. At least 80 percent of the purchase price will benefit breast cancer research and education institutions. Select styles from the Ivanka Trump footwear collection will be included.

“In addition to success in both the business and fashion worlds, Ivanka’s philanthropic spirit is admirable,” said Mike George, president and CEO of QVC.

“As someone who routinely gives back through various charities, she brings a unique perspective to this year’s event. I think her passion will be contagious, allowing shoppers to feel even more empowered by their purchases knowing that they can help make a difference.”

Trump, daughter of Donald Trump, is executive vice president of Development and Acquisitions at The Trump Organization.  There she is charged with the domestic and global expansion of the company’s real estate interests. She is also one of the stars of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
