Newtown Square
Newtown Township, also referred to by the name of its post office of Newtown Square, is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It is a historic suburban community established in 1681 by Welsh Quakers, located approximately 12 miles west of Center City Philadelphia.
The township offers a blend of residential neighborhoods, local businesses, and preserved open spaces, maintaining the charm of its colonial heritage. Notable landmarks include the Square Tavern and the Newtown Square Friends Meeting House.
The area is served by the Marple Newtown School District and provides various recreational facilities and community events.
