Partners in Outreach recently received its largest single donation to date — a record-breaking check from Rafferty Subaru through the automaker’s annual Share the Love Event.

The Subaru Share the Love Event is a philanthropic initiative through which local Subaru dealerships raise and donate funds to community charity organizations of their choosing. Rafferty Subaru, located in Newtown Square, has directed a substantial cumulative total to Partners in Outreach over the course of its partnership with the nonprofit. This past winter, Rafferty also donated more than 250 coats, which were paired with hand-knitted hats and distributed through Partners in Outreach to families in need.

Rafferty Subaru’s contribution directly supports Partners in Outreach’s year-round programming, which includes Operation Easter Basket, Operation Easter Outfit, Classroom Reading Partners, REAL Tutoring, and Summer Camp Partners.

These programs focus on literacy, extracurricular activities, and religious and cultural celebrations — equipping children across Chester County with books, bathing suits, beach towels, and other essentials that allow them to participate meaningfully alongside their peers.

Without Rafferty Subaru’s sustained commitment over the years, many children in the region would not have the supplies they need to make the most of experiences like summer camp. That ongoing partnership has made a measurable difference in the lives of Chester County families.

Partners in Outreach is currently organizing its Summer Camp Partners program for the upcoming season. Volunteers are needed to help make it happen.
