Twin Valley Coffee marks a return to the community where the company first began, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the place it still calls home with the opening of a new location in Elverson this June.
A family-owned company since 2006, its “Your life is about to change” signature is less about changing the coffee scene and more about changing one person’s experience. A skeptic takes their first sip, and something shifts. That small moment of surprise is what keeps their goals the same after 20 years: creating genuine moments of discovery, one cup at a time
The new Main Street location represents a next chapter for the expansion of the company that has always been rooted in a community-first approach. While Twin Valley Coffee has grown to four retail cafes, including its most recent opening at River Station in November 2023, the Elverson and Morgantown areas remain at the center of its story.
Cold Brew continues to be the signature drink across all locations, though each cafe has its own personality and rhythms. Every shop reflects the locale around it while still feeling unmistakably Twin Valley Coffee.
The new cafe will be the company’s fifth location. It’s also the most ambitious yet: Twin Valley Coffee’s first drive-thru, its first cafe built entirely from the ground up, and a space designed alongside Mark C. Myers Architects and D Howe & Son Construction Inc. to include both indoor and outdoor seating and a dedicated parking lot.
The return has been years in the making. Plans first took shape in 2020, and the road since then has not been without detours. The extended timeline may have been a gift, giving the team space to be more intentional about what they were building.
“This step isn’t about expansion alone,” said Robyn Saunders, CEO of Twin Valley Coffee. “It’s about strengthening our presence in the Morgantown and Elverson communities for the long term. Our Main Street location represents continuity, honoring the area that shaped us while building something that will serve it well into the future.”
Twin Valley Coffee began in Elverson with its staple gazebo. It quickly became a gathering place known for connection, after-school visits, and early-morning coffee rituals. The gazebo remains an important part of the company’s story and has been thoughtfully incorporated into the design of the new cafe.
“Where TVC is today feels surreal. We didn’t start with a master growth plan — just a popcorn popper, supportive friends and neighbors, and a family willing to keep saying yes to the next step. What exists now is the result of two decades of organic growth, incredible employees, and communities that welcomed each new cafe along the way,” said Saunders.
Be on the lookout for more details and the grand opening date coming soon at Twin Valley Coffee.
