Twin sisters Tia and Jasmin Cross recently celebrated their graduation from Chester County’s Cheyney University with some of the university’s highest honors, reports Matteo Iadonisi for 6abc.

The twins graduated as valedictorian and salutatorian from Cheyney’s Class of 2026. Tia was honored as the former, and Jasmin as the latter.

Both twins majored in Business Administration. During their years at the university, the duo earned a reputation for their hard work and community engagement. They credit their parents with having instilled these qualities in them from a young age.

Their academic achievements and years of service paid off with these final honors. Both sisters spoke at the ceremony, which took place on May 9 at Cheyney’s Historic Quadrangle.

Cheyney University president Aaron Walton described Tia and Jasmin as role models for the community, whose academic talents and motivation inspire their fellow students.

Looking to the future, Tia and Jasmin will both pursue their MBA degrees at West Chester University starting this fall. Jasmin plans to work as an underwriter in the insurance industry, while Jasmin hopes to gear her work towards marketing and fashion.
