Thanks to Bank of America, Kids Can Play for $5 at These Chester County Golf Clubs

Downingtown Country Club and Honey Brook Golf Club are participating in Bank of America's Golf with Us campaign.

A new initiative from Bank of America will allow young golfers to play at two Chester County golf clubs for a discount, writes Ariel Simpson for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The new initiative, called “Golf With Us,” allows children aged 6 to 18 to golf at thousands of courses for just $5 a round after enrolling in a free one-year membership.

Both Downingtown Country Club and Honey Brook Golf Club are included in the initiative.

Children have until May 24 to enroll in the initiative and receive the discount.

Bank of America advertised the initiative in a commercial during the Masters Tournament this past weekend. The ad featured young golfers struggling on the course but laughing and having fun regardless.

Golf With Us” comes as a partnership with Youth On Course, a nonprofit that makes golf more accessible to young golfers across the country. The initiative aims to help young athletes build both life skills and joyful experiences through time on the golf course.

Bank of America Greater Philadelphia President Jim Dever shared that he anticipates “Golf With Us” having a direct positive impact on the community, specifically young people, who will be able to learn “what is possible in golf, and in life, when they work hard to achieve their goals.”
