2026 VISTA NextGen Superstars: Amanda Blevins

Amanda Blevins, Director, Community Impact at Chester County United Way, joins the 2026 VISTA NextGen Superstars.

For Amanda Blevins, meaningful change happens when people come together with a shared purpose.

As Director of Community Impact at Chester County United Way, Blevins leads strategy and initiatives focused on advancing financial stability and improving access to basic needs across the region. Her work brings together nonprofit organizations, businesses, and local government partners to create measurable outcomes that strengthen the community.

“I most enjoy having the opportunity to work with so many people who are passionate about making Chester County a great place to live and work for all our neighbors,” Blevins stated.

Blevins, who lives in East Coventry, was born in Phoenixville and raised in northern Chester County. She began her professional journey at 16 as a Filing Clerk for South Coventry Township, where she developed an early appreciation for organization and public service.

She graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School before attending Penn State University, where she earned a degree in Marketing.

Throughout her career, Blevins has remained focused on community-driven work. One of her proudest accomplishments came during the COVID-19 pandemic while working with LCH Health and Community Services.

“Being able to collaborate with other organizations to ensure timely information distribution and access to care is something I’m incredibly proud of,” she said.

Blevins credits two mentors, Kate Wickersham and Stephanie Miller, as having the greatest influence on her professional development.

“They’ve been generous with their knowledge and have invested in my growth,” she said. “They taught me how to balance business strategy with compassion while carrying out an organization’s mission.”

Outside of work, Blevins enjoys spending time at local favorites like Twin Valley Coffee and strolling along the Schuylkill River Trail, where she can unwind and stay connected to the community she serves.

Looking ahead, her goals are centered around exploration and continued growth. At the top of her bucket list is traveling more — both across the United States and internationally, embracing new experiences and perspectives along the way.

Blevins and the rest of the 2026 Class of VISTA NextGen Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, Apr. 30, at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center in Malvern.

Sponsors are still being sought for the VNS Awards Reception & Celebration, with a portion of proceeds benefiting this year’s nonprofit partner, the Chester County OIC. A sponsorship offers unparalleled networking opportunities, enhances your organization’s visibility, and aligns you with a celebration of excellence and innovation. Learn more about the various opportunities available to partner with VISTA Today as it honors Chester County’s next generation of leaders, or contact Steve Knickerbocker at [email protected] or 484-437-2826.
