Gregory Shank didn’t just land the top job at one of the region’s most respected accounting firms. He’s been building toward it for more than three decades.
Maillie LLP, the Limerick-based accounting and advisory firm, has named Shank as its new managing partner, succeeding Laurie Tolle, who is retiring after 19 years with the firm.
Shank first walked through Maillie’s doors in 1994, fresh out of the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Thirty-plus years later, he knows the firm, its clients, and the Chester County business community as well as anyone.
That depth of experience is exactly what Maillie’s clients are counting on. As a certified public accountant and certified valuation analyst, Shank has spent his career guiding business owners through some of their biggest moments, including acquisitions, expansions, and eventual sales.
“We have a strong foundation,” Shank said, “and my focus is on continuing to grow the firm, maintaining a high level of client service, and expanding our offerings so we can help clients navigate complex decisions and pursue new opportunities with confidence.”
Maillie has long been a fixture in the regional business community, with offices in Limerick, West Chester, and New Castle, Delaware.
The firm ranks among the top 300 in the country according to Inside Public Accounting and consistently lands on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s list of top regional accounting firms.
For Chester County businesses looking for a trusted financial partner, the name at the top may have changed, but the commitment hasn’t.
