Registered Nurse Supervisor

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a Registered Nurse Supervisor in Skilled Nursing, 3 to 11 PM. The position starts at $40 to $45/hour plus differential. Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated. 

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on your shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Ensure that proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families aware of changes in the resident’s condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Respond to the resident emergency call system.
• Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
• Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
• Encourage restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence.

Skills and Education needed

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN with a current license in Pennsylvania. 
• At least 1 year of experience in geriatric nursing, Long Term Care (LTC) a plus.  
• Supervisory experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Caregivers

Freedom Village at Brandywine is currently hiring multiple part-time positions on all shifts.

Pay rates start at $16/hour with shift differential for nights, evenings, and weekends. A $500 sign-on bonus is being offered for full-time hires.

Freedom Village is seeking Caregivers for its Personal Care Home.

They require all caregivers to complete the Direct Care Competency training and provide a copy of their certificate at the time of hire. 

If you are not certified, Freedom Village will provide you with the opportunity to take and complete the course.

Housekeepers

Freedom Village at Brandywine is currently hiring for a Full-Time and Part-Time housekeepers. The Full-Time position includes a $250 sign-on bonus.

Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Housekeeping Associate to join its team. This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community. 

Full-time hires must have availability to work every other weekend and on holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

Qualifications:

• Three to six months of experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.
