Chester County Futures is marking a significant milestone this year as it celebrates 30 years of dedicated service to the students of Chester County.
Since its inception, the nonprofit organization has been instrumental in shaping the futures of countless young individuals by providing essential guidance and resources for success in and beyond high school.
“This anniversary is a testament to our unwavering commitment to supporting student growth,” said Katie Duffus, Executive Director of Chester County Futures. “For three decades, CCF has focused not only on equipping students with necessary tools and skills but also on nurturing their ability to envision and pursue their own path to success.”
The highlight of this commemorative year will be their 30th Anniversary Celebration event scheduled for Sept. 17, 2026, at the Downingtown Country Club. The evening promises to bring together students, mentors, community partners, and supporters who
have collectively contributed to Chester County Futures’ enduring impact on education within the region. Emmy Award-Winning Journalist Tracy Davidson, formerly from NBC10, will serve as master of ceremonies.
“In reflecting upon our journey over these years,” continued Duffus, “we realize that fostering resilience in youth requires an ecosystem built through collaboration between educators, mentors, families, and students themselves.” She added that while celebrating past accomplishments is vital, envisioning future possibilities remains central to their mission moving forward.
Community awards recognizing outstanding contributions throughout CCF’s history will be presented during the event — a fitting way to honor those whose support helped turn opportunities into achievements for many motivated youths across Chester County.
