Bucks County Manufacturer Signs Lease for Bristol Building, Plans More Jobs

Airline Hydraulics, a Bucks County-based manufacturer, signed a lease for an industrial facility in Bristol, which will add 50 new jobs.

Bucks County-based Airline Hydraulics Corp. signed a lease for a 184,611-square-foot industrial facility in Bristol, which it plans to fully occupy, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation products distributor will be moving into the new location this summer, with plans to add 50 new jobs. The facility will be used for manufacturing and distribution, according to Roddy Inc.’s Robert Olender, who represents the corporation in the lease.

Airline Hydraulics will be consolidating operations from two of its current locations in Bensalem and Bristol, with both leases set to expire within the year.

The firm’s 65,000-square-foot headquarters in Bensalem will remain operational.

EQT Real Estate owns the new Bristol facility, which was constructed in 1990 and offers 14,760 square feet of office space.

“It really came down to efficiency and infrastructure,” said Olender. “The building supports both their distribution and manufacturing operations. … It has the electrical capacity that they need and had a pretty large office area already built out. So that made it far more cost effective than looking at new construction.”
