For Abby Wolfe, marketing is all about building relationships that strengthen the business community. And as Director of Marketing & Communications for the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI), Wolfe plays a central role in promoting the organization’s initiatives and supporting the success of its more than 600 member businesses.
Her responsibilities range from managing social media and designing promotional materials to coordinating events and producing digital communications that reach thousands across the region.
“What I enjoy most is engaging with our membership,” Wolfe said. “Whether it’s making introductions at an event, sharing their accomplishments online, or meeting for coffee to discuss marketing opportunities, I love knowing I can make a small impact in someone’s day.”

Wolfe was born and raised in Reading, where she developed a strong sense of community that continues to guide her professional goals. Her first job came at age 17, working alongside her father as a summer employee for Maidencreek Township’s Public Works Division, maintaining parks and public spaces.
She later graduated from Berks Catholic High School before attending Rosemont College, where she earned a dual bachelor’s degree in English and Communications, along with minors in Political Science and Theology & Religious Studies.
One of Wolfe’s proudest professional achievements came in 2025 when she helped plan and execute the National Civics Bee competition in partnership with the U.S. Chamber Foundation. The initiative focused on encouraging civic engagement among young people — a mission she found both meaningful and inspiring.
Wolfe credits CCCBI President & CEO Laura Manion as one of the most influential figures in her career, describing her as a mentor who has supported her growth and encouraged her to take on new opportunities within the organization.
Today, Wolfe lives in Philadelphia but frequently spends time in Chester County. One of her favorite local destinations is Bluebird Distilling in Phoenixville, where she enjoys catching up with friends or planning a relaxed date night.
Looking toward the future, Wolfe has her sights set on a destination that reflects both her love of storytelling and adventure. At the top of her bucket list is visiting Hobbiton in New Zealand, the iconic filming location for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies — a place she hopes will inspire her creativity and sense of wonder.
Wolfe and the rest of the 2026 Class of VISTA NextGen Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, Apr. 30, at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center in Malvern.
Sponsors are still being sought for the VNS Awards Reception & Celebration, with a portion of proceeds benefiting this year’s nonprofit partner, the Chester County Opportunities Industrialization Center (CCOIC). A sponsorship offers unparalleled networking opportunities, enhances your organization’s visibility, and aligns you with a celebration of excellence and innovation.
