On Monday, Mar. 16, from 6:00-7:30 PM, Henrietta Hankin Branch Library, in partnership with Eagle Glenmoore Lions Club, will host a panel of experts to present an eye-opening, easy-to-understand session on diabetes and prediabetes.
The community is invited to come in to learn all about the latest research on this disease, as well as how to detect early warning signs, understand key monitoring tools, and discover how nutrition, movement, and daily habits can help prevent or manage the disease.
The expert panel will include Dr. Amy Capoocia of Ludwigs Village Family Medicine; Dr. John Fish, OD, MyEyeDr., Chester Springs; and Amy Rodriguez Miller, Director of Programs and Wellness at Brandywine Valley Active Aging.
Whether you’re concerned about your own health, supporting a loved one, or simply want to be informed, this seminar will give you the knowledge and confidence to take meaningful action.
This event will take place in the Annex of the Henrietta Hankin Library, and registration is required. Register here, or call the library at 610-344-4196. Henrietta Hankin Library supports PA Forward Health Literacy.
