The Delaware County Community College (DCCC) Phantoms baseball team features a new-look group this year, with three returning players complemented by a sizable and diverse incoming class that includes Delaware County high school alumni.
Returning for the Phantoms is speedster Landyn Washington, who looks to build on an outstanding 2025 campaign in which he set the DCCC single-season stolen base record. Washington’s game-changing speed and experience at the top of the lineup will be a key component of the Phantoms’ offensive identity. Also returning are utility player Bryce Johnson and right-handed pitcher Brady Kopishke.
The incoming class features newcomers not only from the surrounding region, like Ray Fonio (Upper Darby High School), but also from New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and beyond. Among those newcomers is Ethan Reyes, poised for a breakout season and expected to make an immediate impact on both sides of the ball. Adding power to the lineup is a right-handed designated hitter, Nick Radomile, whose size and strength give the Phantoms a true middle-of-the-order presence.
On the mound, the pitching staff is highlighted by a projected one-two punch of Connor Hill and Aaron Wright, who are expected to take on major roles in the starting rotation. Their ability to set the tone early in games will be critical as the Phantoms navigate a demanding Region XIX schedule. Defensive wiz, first-year catcher Teagan Jillard, will be tasked with leading the pitching staff from behind the plate and providing defensive stability. Other key additions adding depth to the roster include left-handed power hitter CJ DeTurris, as well as Angel Fuentes, Aiden Lee, Dominic Masso, and Hector Fierro Jr.
The team is coached by second-year coach Andre’ Solomon, in his first season as head coach, alongside assistant Coach John Jillard, who enters his third year with the Phantoms. The team competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Div. III, Region XIX. “As our program continues to build momentum, the 2026 season represents an important step forward in establishing the DCCC Phantoms as a contender within our highly competitive region,” said Solomon.
The team opens its season against Middlesex College on Mar. 13 at 3:00 PM at home on DCCC’s Marple Campus. For more information on the team and the complete 2026 season schedule, visit DCCC.
