To make the most of spring weather, consider a trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square. The world-renowned botanical garden is one of Chester County’s most beloved attractions, with winding outdoor trails through stunning horticulture displays.
The gardens’ Spring Bloom display will run from March 27 through May 3, with extended hours through 9 PM.
For more local culture and art, the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art features the works of famed illustrator N.C. Wyeth, as well as pieces by his son and grandson Andrew and Jamie. Wyeth works showcase the Brandywine Valley’s scenery and natural beauty, making the museum a perfect encapsulation of what the region has to offer.
The conservancy also offers outdoor trails across the estate, perfect for a warm-weather stroll.
When it’s time to eat, Longwood Gardens’ new restaurant 1906 offers upscale dining with views of the Main Garden Fountain.
