The search is complete — and VISTA Today is now unveiling its next class of standout young leaders. The 2026 VISTA NextGen Superstars are a cross-section of professionals under 40 whose ideas, initiative, and community commitment are already shaping Chester County’s present, not just its future.

Launched in mid-November, VISTA Today’s annual search drew a flood of nominations from across industries, highlighting young leaders who are challenging conventions, driving progress, and elevating their fields. The diverse talents of the 2026 VISTA NextGen Superstars reflect just how vibrant and forward-thinking Chester County’s emerging workforce has become.

Among our Superstars are:

  • a gym owner who has built an inclusive community space where people of all abilities feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to improve their health and lives
  • a compassionate and collaborative nonprofit leader who’s building lasting networks of care that support grieving families
  • a Pennsylvania State Trooper and volunteer EMT whose community service includes building and sustaining life-saving overdose response systems and emergency care across the county
  • a 17-year-old whose academic excellence, artistic mentorship, and nonprofit leadership is uplifting students and strengthening Phoenixville
  • the founder of an alternative investment firm who actively mentors other young professionals and fights food insecurity through his volunteer work at Philabundance
  • a communications professional who transformed her passion for storytelling and fashion into a public relations agency, regional fashion platform, and media presence
  • a nonprofit leader who is strengthening systems, launching life-changing programs, and meeting people at their most vulnerable moments with steadiness, respect, and an unwavering commitment to community impact

These are only seven of the 40 honorees who will be recognized at the Awards Reception & Celebration at Penn State Great Valley on Thursday, April 30. Daniel Embree, Executive Director of the Kennett Collaborative and a member of the 2025 Class of VISTA NextGen Superstars, will be the event’s keynote speaker.

Individual profiles of the Superstars will be featured on VISTA Today beginning Monday, March 2.

As in previous years, a portion of event proceeds will benefit a local nonprofit. This year’s recipient is Chester County OIC, the Coatesville-based organization that advances education and workforce development through adult-learning programs, job-readiness training, and re-entry support that helps individuals build lasting stability and success.

Sponsors are still being sought for the VNS Awards Reception & Celebration. A sponsorship offers unparalleled networking opportunities, enhances your organization’s visibility, and aligns you with a celebration of excellence and innovation. Learn more about the various opportunities available to partner with VISTA Today as it honors Chester County’s next generation of leaders.
