Chester County Futures is proud to continue its partnership with S&T Bank in offering essential financial literacy workshops for high school students in their Kennett Square cohort. This initiative provides practical learning experiences designed to equip students in grades 9-12 with indispensable skills like budgeting, saving, understanding credit, and fraud prevention.
The workshops, provided by James Robinson and Denise Selvaggio of S&T Bank, are part of Chester County Futures’ ongoing commitment to provide meaningful educational opportunities that prepare students for success both academically and in their future professional lives. By partnering with community-focused organizations like S&T Bank, CCF ensures that students receive real-world knowledge they can apply throughout their lives.
“Denise and I are grateful for the opportunity to talk with the students of the Kennett cohort,” shared Robinson. “The students were extremely engaged and very interested in understanding how credit works. We educated on how to establish credit, maintain strong credit scores, and the Do’s and Don’ts around credit and co-signing. We are looking forward to assisting much more in 2026.”
Chester County Futures recognizes the invaluable impact these sessions have had on its student body and remains grateful to community partners committed to fostering environments where young minds can learn, grow, and thrive.
