The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth is hiring for a variety of positions.

Founded in 1970 by a behavioral health hospital and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1983, The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth is an entrepreneurial social enterprise committed to transforming lives and communities.

Headquartered in Audubon, TLC operates across multiple states, providing K-12 alternative education, comprehensive mental and behavioral health services, coaching, counseling, and trauma-informed training.

The Lincoln Center for Family and Youth collaborates with school districts, universities, hospitals, police departments, and nonprofit organizations, offering consultation services to secure federal and state grant funding.

The following positions are available:

Behavior Analyst

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will work with elementary, middle, and/or high school students in the Norristown School District to (a) study the behavior of students and create plans to improve or change problematic behaviors; (b) work with students who have developmental disabilities, brain injuries or emotional control, social or behavioral issues; and/or (c) help students manage issues such as stress or anger in healthier ways or achieve personal behavior goals.

They will:

  • Attend team meetings for the purpose of obtaining and providing information and insight that will assist in the daily interaction with specific children.
  • Attends meetings and in-service presentations (e.g., first aid, CPR, emergency procedures, crisis prevention, etc.) for the purpose of acquiring and/or conveying information relative to job functions.
  • Documents data under the supervision of the assigned teacher or supervisor to support progress monitoring of students.
  • Implement, under the supervision of the assigned teacher, behavioral plans designed by the team for students with interfering behaviors or other special conditions for the purpose of presenting and/or reinforcing learning concepts.
  • Maintains behavioral progress monitoring and/or manual and electronic files/records of each crisis intervention for the purpose of meeting mandated requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
 

  • Monitors and responds to crisis and support calls using approved restraint and de-escalation techniques when required for the purpose of ensuring student safety.
  • Monitors students during assigned periods within a variety of school environments (e.g., restrooms, playgrounds, hallways, bus loading zones, cafeteria, parking lots, field trips, assemblies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Provides under the supervision of the assigned teacher, practice/review of learned skills to students in a variety of individual and group activities (e.g., academic subjects, social skills, daily living skills, etc.) for the purpose of reinforcing instructional objectives; implementing team plans, and ensuring student success in school.
  • Works directly with students (e.g., one-to-one, de-escalating, safety escort, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring student and staff safety.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in behavior analysis.
  • Applied behavior management and analysis skills.
  • Communication, organizational, and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree required.
  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)® Certification in Pennsylvania is required.

ELL (English Language Learner Teacher)

The ELL Teacher provides academic instruction and socioemotional support to at-risk youth, grades 7-12, in an alternative school setting.

In an open, small classroom environment, in the Chester-Upland School District, the Teacher must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in serving the individualized instructional needs of the students assigned to the class.

The Teacher must be able to work in a team environment with other educators, special education staff, counselors, and social 
workers.

The Teacher should possess a high degree of authenticity, kindness, and empathy while effectively maintaining a classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and socioemotional growth.

The ELL Teacher helps students learning English as an additional language by providing instruction,  collaborating with other educators, assessing progress, and ensuring compliance with educational regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Facilitate Learning
o Develop a classroom culture where the Teacher is viewed as a “facilitator” of the learning process and not a “lecturer.”
o Plans, prepares, and implements lesson plans that facilitate active learning.
o Provides personalized support to each student to develop learning plans that match each student’s needs and abilities.
o Utilizes Project-Based Learning (PBL) techniques.
o Leverages technology to support and differentiate instruction.
o Develops a multi-sensory learning environment.
o Teach English language development lessons.
o Work with classroom teachers and specialists to support ELL students.

o Assess student progress using tests and evaluations.
o Advocate for ELL students and act as a liaison between the school and families.
o Complete required documentation for compliance with regulations

Facilitate Socioemotional Development
o Provides diverse opportunities to develop and enhance students’ social and emotional skills.
o Promotes the overall wellness (physical, mental, social, emotional) of each student.

Conduct Assessments
o Assigns and grades classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
o Monitors the progress of individual students and uses information to adjust facilitation strategies.
o Maintains accurate and complete records of students’ progress.
Develop Positive Classroom Culture
o Builds positive, compassionate classroom communities that engage learners.
o Implements evidence-based classroom management and positive behavior support strategies.

Other Duties
o Actively participates in department, school, district, and parent meetings.
o Initiates and maintains close contact with parents/guardians of each student.
o Communicates information regularly to students, parents, and districts regarding student progress and student needs.
o Updates all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations.
o Assesses, records, and reports on the development, progress, goal attainment, and behavior of students.
o Attends meetings as scheduled and necessary with counselors, other staff, and other members of the Public-School District .

Skills & Knowledge:    
o Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
o Ability to work effectively on a multi-treatment team.
o Proficient in subject matter taught.
o Knowledge and experience with Microsoft programs.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree and Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in the subject taught.

Executive and Life Coach

This is a flexible coaching role serving adults, professionals, and organizations. Clients may include executives, managers, educators, small teams, emerging leaders, and individuals seeking personal or career growth.

You’ll design and deliver coaching that enhances performance, communication, mindset, leadership capacity, and well-being

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 coaching to adults on leadership, communication, career development, stress management, and personal/professional growth.
• Facilitate team-based or organizational coaching, including conflict resolution, communication improvement, strengths-based development, and group facilitation.
• Support clients in setting goals, identifying blocks, developing insight, and implementing sustainable action steps.
• Conduct needs assessments with organizational partners to tailor coaching services.
• Design and deliver workshops, trainings, or retreats for businesses, schools, and community agencies (optional based on skillset).
• Maintain organized documentation of sessions, goals, and progress.
• Collaborate with TLC Wellness’s leadership team to build out service offerings, refine processes, and enhance program quality.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Certification in executive coaching, life coaching, leadership coaching, or related professional credential (ICF certification preferred but not required).
• Experience coaching adults, teams, or leaders in organizational, business, or educational settings.
• Strong understanding of communication styles, leadership development, emotional intelligence, and change management.
• Ability to hold space for clients while also driving accountability and results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable working with diverse industries, personality types, and leadership levels.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to lead workshops or trainings is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset — someone excited to help build and grow a coaching program.
