
Safe Harbor of Chester County has three December events planned to celebrate the season, the community, and the work that’s been accomplished to help those facing homelessness.
“Your support, partnership, and commitment have made a profound difference in the lives of those we serve — and we’d be honored to celebrate with you,” states a Safe Harbor release announcing the events.
Open House and Giving Event
A Hope for the Holidays Open House & Giving Event is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, from 8 to 11 AM, at Safe Harbor, 20 N. Matlack Street in West Chester.
Enjoy complimentary hot beverages from Cafe Gourmino, holiday treats, and a warm morning of giving back.
Partner Appreciation Happy Hour
There will be a Partner Appreciation Happy Hour on Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 5 to 7 PM, at Station 142, 142 E. Market Street in West Chester.
Enjoy complimentary appetizers and two drinks on Safe Harbor as they celebrate those who make their mission possible.
Santa Band Stroll Fundraiser
Join Safe Harbor on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 6 PM, for a Full Santa Band Stroll, with a kickoff at Bar Avalon, 1116 E. Gay Street in West Chester..
Santa David, along with Mike, Phil, Adam, and their merry elves, will be strolling through local restaurants performing holiday favorites and raising funds to support Safe Harbor of Chester County.
The stroll will be followed up by a Breakfast Stroll on Wednesday, Dec. 24, starting at 8:30 AM at DK Diner, 609 E. Gay Street in West Chester.
When you join in or make a donation, you’re helping ensure that adults experiencing homelessness have warm shelter, hot meals, compassionate care, and the support they need to rebuild their lives.
Safe Harbor offers help to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and food insecurity, with a mission to provide shelter, support, resources, and a pathway to stability for anyone in need.
The goal of Safe Harbor is to break the cycle of homelessness, foster resilience, and provide a foundation for a brighter future.
