Clark’s Christmas Tree Farm in Cochranville is celebrating over two decades in business, writes Matteo Iadonisi for 6ABC.
Owner Bill Clark first began selling Christmas trees part time at fourteen years old. Now, with the help of his children and grandchildren, the family-run business shares holiday joy each year with acres of Christmas trees and an expansive gift shop.
The family began planting trees in 1998 before officially opening in 2005. Available trees range from three to twelve feet tall, and customers can either purchase pre-cut fir trees or cut their own trees on the property.
The farm also features delicious refreshments, including hot chocolate, coffee, and caramel corn.
Several years into business, the family opened the on-site Christmas market. The shop began as one room and soon expanded into four complete with ornaments, ceramic trees, nutcrackers, and other festive décor.
Clark’s Christmas Tree Shop plans to stay open through the Sunday before Christmas. After Christmas day, the team begins preparations for the next year.
Clark continues to run the business alongside his four children and their children to pass the decades of Christmas joy down to the next generation.
