If you would prefer to avoid crowds while choosing your tree, there are several Chester County farms where you can get your Christmas tree delivered right to your doorstep, write Grace Dickinson and Michelle Myers for The Philadelphia Inquirer

Family-owned Wiggins Christmas Tree Farm delivers trees throughout the region from its two Chester County locations. Fees start at $40 for the areas surrounding West Chester.

For example, at the West Chester location, you can get Douglas firs ranging from two to six feet tall. If you would prefer something taller, the Cochranville location has trees that range up to 10 feet tall.

Meanwhile, Clark’s Christmas Tree Farm is also in Cochranville. This family-run business offers a variety of trees in different sizes with prices being set based on the tree’s height.

Should you opt for an in-person visit to choose your tree, the farm also has a gift shop and offers pictures with Santa.
