December events throughout Chester County offer residents the perfect way to enjoy the holiday season, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
Here are three upcoming events to add to your calendar this December.
West Chester Christmas Parade—West Chester. One of the county’s most beloved annual events will take place on Friday, Dec. 5. The parade will include festive floats, dancers, marching band performances, and more throughout downtown West Chester following the borough’s tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 PM.
CraftForms Exhibition—Wayne. The Wayne Art Center offers a variety of December events, including the CraftForms exhibition, which is set to run from Dec. 6 through Jan. 24. The studio’s designated shopping weekend will take place from Dec. 12 through Dec. 14, where visitors can purchase one-of-a-kind jewelry, pottery, ceramics, hand bags, spirits, chocolates, and more from over thirty local artisans.
Berwyn Holiday Market—Berwyn. Set for Dec. 14 from 11 AM to 2 PM, shop for local goods from over forty vendors at the Berwyn Holiday Market. The event will also include food trucks, brass quartet music performances, and pictures with Santa, in addition to hot chocolate and s’mores provided by Éclat Chocolate.
