The Black Cat Cafe in Devon makes delicious, fluffy egg sandwiches guaranteed to both satisfy your taste buds and fill you up.
As a bonus, eating at the Black Cat Cafe means you are also doing some good for the local felines who do not yet have a home. The nonprofit Main Line cafe tucked off Lancaster Avenue donates the majority of its income to cat rescue.
Another local spot with amazing breakfast sandwiches is Mae’s in West Chester.
Chef-owner Josh Taggart, who honed his skills in Philadelphia downtown places such as Lacroix, opted for the small-town charm of downtown West Chester during the pandemic. His stylish spot is open from breakfast through dinner. One of the local favorites is a sandwich that pairs Lebanon bologna with fluffy eggs for a mouthwatering result.
